Magic Kingdom Parade?

Q: First time visiting during the Christmas season... attending Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party... where is the very best place to sit for the parade, and how early should we get there?

A: Sit anywhere on Mainstreet USA this is the best place to see it. As for when to sit look at the crowd; if its looks like it is getting crowded grab a seat. Sometimes though, they will run two parades; if they do go to the second one. The first parade is always more crowded. During the first parade hit all the big name rides, everyone else will be watching the parade. As the night drags on, families with little kids will leave early and the next showing of the parade will be better. You will not be crowded and standing shoulder to shoulder with strangers.

Favorite nighttime show at Disney World?

Q:Mine is by far Fantasmic. The combination of the water/effects, fireworks, characters, etc. is so amazing (: !

A:The best is Illuminations. After walking and drinking around Epcot, this is a great show. The music and fireworks are spectacular. The propane explosions can be felt and the lasers are cool. Also, when the show is over you can walk to the Boardwalk and keep the party going.

Is Orlando crowded in the first week of November?

Q:We are planning to go to Disney in November first week. Is the weather nice? and where can we find deals for the hotels and the parks? Thanks for any help.

A:According to www.touringplans.com, the first week of November is one of the slowest of the year. The weather is also, nice, it is just starting to cool down, temps in the 60's. There are a few places to find deals:
1: www.disneyworld.com
2: www.mousesavers.com
3. www.mousellaneous.org

As far as I know, Disney is offering free dining during that time period.

Quick Note: www.touringplans.com is a great Disney planning site. The crowd calendars and their mobile program lines are invaluable. Best of all it only costs about $10 for a year subscription

Best time for Disney world?? (weather wise)?

Q: My family and I are planning on going to Disney world in Florida. We want to go in December but is that too cold to go? I know Florida isn't cold, but i want sunshine and warm air for swimming and stuff. I can't miss a lot of school, so we can't go during non holiday months. So the main question is, is Late December too cold to go to disney world?? Thanks!

A: This question is relative to where you live. I live in Florida and I would never swim in December. I grew up in New York though and when I was younger we would visit Disney during the winter, so when it is 50 degrees outside in Fl and I just left snow, it felt tropical. If you are looking to swim, all Disney hotel pools are heated so it won't be to bad while you are in the water. Just don't plan on going to a water park.As for everything else December is great for Disney. As long as its not to close to Christmas or New Years, the crowds are low. During December the low temps make walking around the parks fantastic. And remember, if you do get cold, the tequila bar in Mexico will warm you up.

Does Disney really offer discounted tickets after 4pm and if so how do i get some?

Q: A friend of mine says that disney offers meeting/convention tickets to enter the parks after 2pm or 4pm. How do you get these tickets and what are the requirements?

A: If you are a Florida resident or if your group makes a special request of Disney, you may be able to get Epcot after 4pm passes. These passes are good for a year and cost $139. The drawback is that you only get into Epcot after 4pm. A better bet would be to buy a weekday pass. These are also good for a year (though only Monday- Friday) but it is good for all parks and you can park hop. This ticket costs $169.
